Passageways to Recovery, Employment & Education

WHAT WE DO

Our program proudly serves the Native community by ensuring traditional ceremonies and services are provided to our incarcerated brothers and sisters. The HEAL for Reentry program is grounded in cultural practices and ceremonies, which are utilized to address incarceration challenges such as institutionalization and trauma, aiding our indigenous relatives as they rebuild their lives. Participation in cultural activities and ceremonies is required, even if conducted outside the organization. We provide resources, assistance, and referrals to help remove barriers that challenge or restrict access to education and employment. Our program focuses on:

  • Vocational Education: Supporting individuals in gaining practical skills for their chosen careers.

  • Post-secondary Education: Assisting with access to higher education opportunities.

  • Job Search Support: Offering guidance and resources for effective job searching.

  • Other Barrier Removal: Addressing additional obstacles as identified by individuals.

Our goal is to empower individuals to achieve their educational and career aspirations.
