HEAL for Reentry
Native American Reentry Services is committed to the healing of our tribal and indigenous relatives as they transition from the Iron House (prison) back in to Washington communities.
The HEAL for Reentry program utilizes tradition and ceremony to tackle incarceration challenges such as institutionalization and trauma to aid our indigenous relatives as they rebuild their lives.

INDIGENOUS REENTRY PROGRAMMING: Program offerings continuing traditions and activities many clients participated in during incarceration, including:
- Sweat Lodge 
- Drum & Dance 
- Regalia & Beading 
WELLBRIETY: Culturally based healing though group support utilizing White Bison and Wellbriety methodology including but not limited to:
- Medicine Wheel & 12 Step 
- Mending Broken Hearts 
- Warrior Down 
CASE MANAGEMENT: Reentry support including planning, in-house resources, and referrals, including legal, transportation and basic needs
EDUCATION & EMPLOYMENT: Resources, assistance and referrals for the removal of barriers that otherwise challenge or restrict continuing education or employment, including resources for the following:
- Vocational education 
- Post-secondary education 
- Job search support specific to corrections background 
- Other barrier removal as identified 
HOUSING: Assistance and resources focused on addressing housing needs, building rental history, and stabilizing finances are currently available in limited capacity and have already been assigned to eligible participants.
COMMUNICATIONS & TECHNOLOGY: Resource and referral support, including on-site computer lab
